walk on it, one, two

I am hiding. Yes, yes, I am. I've actually had an awful day until about an hour ago when the Attic Girls cheered me up by recounting some of the exploits of the nitwits that scour the proud hallways of our beloved castle.

I had new ink done yesterday. My chest, shoulders, and upper back, to be more precise. My skin prickled more than usual because, apparently, the chest area is much more sensitive than others on the human body. I had a vague idea about that, but nothing solid because I didn't bother asking. Measly things like pain won't stand in my way when it comes to body modification (uh, yeah).

I'm still kind of hurting right now because the area is super-sensitised right now due to sweating everything off on the way to work. My work wardrobe is not particularly comfortable either. I'm not about to tell the Attic Girls about getting more work done because, even if they don't say anything, you can see the judging-you looks they give you, which I am so completely not interested in. Oh, yeah.

Due to the tat thing, I was up at ten past six this morning to take the bandages off and wash the thing. Putting the cream thing on is a total pain because my shoulders ache and I have to stretch all around to reach my upper back. All in all, I hope my skin doesn't fall off. The sun on the way to work is the worst thing out of all this because it gives me such migraines and irritates my skin underneath my clothes because the sweat sticks to me all day long and, just, uh, yeah, I want to not be doing the whole walking to work thing under such conditions, but there you go.

I'm actually hoping it rains. Just a tiny bit. Or for the sun to retreat until I get home. I might have to go shopping for less revealing work attire if I want to keep the ink under wraps. I can't really afford it, but what can you do?

Another bad thing today? Well, yes. Because I was so careful with the tattoo, now my back hurts like hell. I think I need to find a better sleeping position for the time being.
