Electricity in my part of town is nowhere to be found, so I'm watching The Birdcage on my laptop while battery life still exists. Until my laptop ran out. Then I started writing in longhand with a flashlight the Birdcage Jared/Jensen AU mediaville/mediaville mentioned here. Wish me many merry nights of scribbling away at yet another story that will probably never make it outside of mislabelled Word documents on my hard drive.

August 12: I am grateful the bus from work today made it back OK (in the end).

I had roughly three hours of sleep last night. Which would be OK if not for the constant lack of sleep lately. I almost didn't make it out of bed in time. I felt sickly all day long, and it finally got intensely bad when I left for home. Needless to say, the driver of the bus almost killing everyone at least three times did not help matters any. I felt like pucking for most of the trip home. I had to call to have someone pick me up because I was just that nauseous and barely functional. I hate when that happens because I never get car sick, but sometimes my body is way ahead of me, and, plus, I was already starving, which made everything so much worse. Yuck.
